Ethiopian national arrested in Jeddah for trafficking hashish, amphetamines

Patrols from the General Directorate of Mujahideen in Jeddah have arrested an Ethiopian national for violating border security regulations and trafficking hashish, amphetamines, and pills subject to medical regulation.

According to the Mujahideen patrols' account on the X platform, the suspect was detained, legal procedures were taken, and he was referred to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province, or (999) and (994) in other regions, as well as the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline (995), or by email at ([email protected]). All reports will be handled confidentially with no liability for the informant.
