Second edition of historic Raghdan Market festival opens in Al-Baha

The second edition of the historic Raghdan Market festival opened yesterday in Al-Baha, organized by the Raghdan Association for Development and Social Services in cooperation with government and local entities, as part of the Al-Baha Summer 2026 program.

The event aims to highlight the region’s cultural and historical heritage and to promote the historical and civilizational significance of Raghdan Market through a diverse program of cultural and entertainment activities, enhancing the experience for visitors and holidaymakers.

The festival features cultural evenings, performances of the southern Ardah dance, as well as booths for local artisans, heritage collectibles, and handicrafts. Interactive activities include Arabic calligraphy, photography, and visual arts, along with entertainment competitions for families and children.

These events contribute to strengthening the region’s cultural identity, supporting artisans and local families, and reviving authentic heritage practices, thereby boosting tourism and cultural activity during the Al-Baha Summer 2026 season.
