Border guards foil attempt to smuggle 16 kg of hashish in Asir

Saudi Border Guard ground patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have thwarted an attempt to smuggle 16 kilograms of hashish.

According to a statement posted on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed and the seized drugs have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security agencies urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995. Reports can also be submitted via email at [email protected]. All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
