Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty has said that relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia are excellent at all levels.

Speaking to Al Arabiya during his current visit to Riyadh to discuss regional developments, Abdelatty added that ties between the leaderships and peoples of Saudi Arabia and Egypt are very strong.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has previously stated that Egypt’s military efforts are limited to defending Saudi Arabia’s territory and borders, stressing that these efforts do not include launching any attacks on Yemen.

El-Sisi explained that Arab national security is indivisible, and that the stability of Gulf states is linked to Egypt’s own security. He affirmed that Egypt would defend the territory of any other Arab country if requested to do so.
