Saudi citizens united in defending the nation, security expert says

Security expert Abdullah Al-Qahtani said that Saudi citizens, whether civilians or members of the military, are united in standing behind their leadership to defend the nation.

Speaking in an interview with Al-Ekhbariya TV, Al-Qahtani added that the Kingdom’s armed forces remain vigilant against anyone attempting to threaten Saudi Arabia’s security or its holy sites, and are confronting a fierce war waged by terrorism and its backers.

Al-Qahtani noted that the enemy is targeting Makkah, civilian sites, mosques, and worshippers.

Earlier, the official spokesperson for the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, announced that Saudi air defenses had intercepted and destroyed six ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi terrorist militia in an attempt to target the regions of Taif and Yanbu.

Al-Maliki explained that the air defense systems successfully neutralized the threat and prevented attacks on civilian facilities in both cities.
