Saudi, UAE foreign ministers discuss regional developments in phone call

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

According to an official statement, the call focused on the latest regional developments amid rapidly changing events in the area.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening consultation and unifying positions between the two countries to support joint Gulf cooperation.

They also stressed the need for ongoing efforts to contain escalation, safeguard the security of Gulf states, and protect their resources.
