Three Yemenis arrested in Jazan for smuggling 72 kg of khat

Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Harth sector of Jazan region have arrested three Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 72 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

According to a statement on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both the detainees and the seized contraband have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions.
