Saudi Islamic Affairs Ministry welcomes second group of King’s Umrah guests

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance today welcomed the second group of guests under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Umrah and Visit Program for the year 1448 AH, upon their arrival in Madinah. The visit includes tours of the Prophet’s Mosque and several Islamic and historical sites, before the group proceeds to Makkah to perform Umrah.

Guests from France and Syria were among the first to arrive.

This second group consists of 250 male and female pilgrims representing 23 countries across Europe and Asia, including Albania, Germany, Spain, Estonia, Jordan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Iraq, Greece, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Syria, Switzerland, Serbia, France, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, and Austria.

The ministry has prepared a comprehensive program for the guests during their stay in Madinah, featuring visits to the Prophet’s Mosque, the Rawdah, Quba Mosque, Mount Uhud, the Uhud Martyrs Cemetery, the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, as well as the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization.

After completing their program in Madinah, the guests will travel to Makkah to perform Umrah rituals. Their itinerary also includes visits to the Kiswa Factory, the Revelation Exhibition, and several other Islamic sites, along with an educational and cultural program highlighting Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving Islam, Muslims, and the Two Holy Mosques.
