Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, on Wednesday inaugurated the fifth edition of the Middle East Poultry Expo 2026 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the theme "Today's Innovation... Tomorrow's Production."

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from government entities, the private sector, investors, and poultry industry specialists, along with more than 400 exhibiting companies and organizations from 45 countries worldwide.

During the event, Minister Al-Fadley witnessed the signing of 27 agreements with investments exceeding SAR 2.574 billion ($686 million), aimed at developing the poultry sector, improving production efficiency, strengthening supply chains, and expanding investment partnerships to support food security in the Kingdom.

During his tour of the exhibition, the minister reviewed the latest technologies and solutions in poultry farming and production, feed manufacturing, animal health, processing and packaging, and received briefings on their role in improving product quality and operational efficiency.

He also honored the winners of the inaugural Poultry Sector Excellence Awards, which recognized achievements in lifetime contribution (Pioneers), leadership in biosecurity for safe poultry production, excellence in social responsibility and collaborative work, production and manufacturing excellence, and influential international partnership in the poultry industry.

The Ministry of Environment is showcasing its key initiatives and efforts to develop the poultry sector, empower producers and investors, encourage the adoption of modern technologies and sustainable practices, and highlight services and programs supporting sector growth.

The expo, running until October 6, features dedicated halls bringing together companies and organizations from all stages of the poultry industry, offering visitors a chance to explore products, technologies, and services, connect with local and international solution providers and experts, and explore cooperation and investment opportunities.
