Dust Storm Center reports 31 hours of dust events across region

The Regional Center for Sand and Dust Storms reported 31 hours of dust events across regional countries on Saturday.

In a statement on X, the center said the incidents included nine cases in Jordan, seven each in Iran and Saudi Arabia, and four each in Cyprus and Yemen. No dust events were recorded in other countries in the region.

The center operates according to World Meteorological Organization standards, aiming to address sand and dust phenomena and reduce associated risks through a monitoring system at both national and regional levels.
