Saudi Passports Directorate details steps for renewing resident ID online via Absher

The General Directorate of Passports has enabled the online renewal of the Muqeem (resident) ID through the Absher platform for expatriates currently outside Saudi Arabia.

The service also allows easy online renewal of Muqeem IDs for dependents and domestic workers.

To renew a Muqeem ID for domestic workers, users should first log in to the Absher website, go to Resident Services, select Domestic Worker Services, choose the appropriate beneficiary, and then select Renew Muqeem ID.

For dependents, the process requires logging in to Absher, accessing Family Member Services, selecting Resident Services, choosing the beneficiary, and then selecting the Muqeem ID to be renewed.
