Bahrain has strongly condemned the ongoing terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia using ballistic missiles and drones, particularly the recent launch of two ballistic missiles toward the regions of Mecca and Madinah, which were intercepted by Saudi air defenses.

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Houthi militia's persistent targeting of civilian sites and vital facilities, as well as endangering the holiest Islamic sites and their visitors, constitutes a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and of international law and humanitarian law. The ministry described these actions as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability, a flagrant assault on the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques, and a provocation to Muslims worldwide.

The ministry reaffirmed Bahrain's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its complete support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, to protect its citizens and residents, and to preserve the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques and the safety of their visitors. The ministry also affirmed Saudi Arabia's right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, praised the efficiency and vigilance of Saudi air defenses in countering these attacks, and stressed that the security of Saudi Arabia is inseparable from that of Bahrain and all Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed Bahrain's call for the United Nations Security Council to take firm and decisive action to stop the repeated Houthi terrorist attacks, prevent threats to religious sites, civilian facilities, and civilian lives, hold perpetrators and their supporters accountable, and ensure the implementation of relevant resolutions, particularly Resolutions 2216 and 2817, in order to help maintain regional and international peace and security.
