Saudi and Iraqi justice chiefs meet in Riyadh to boost judicial cooperation

Saudi Minister of Justice and Acting President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, met with Dr. Faiq Zidan, President of Iraq's Supreme Judicial Council, at the council's headquarters in Riyadh. Dr. Zidan is visiting the Kingdom officially to strengthen judicial cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

During the meeting, both sides discussed aspects of judicial and legal cooperation and ways to further develop them, as well as enhancing communication and coordination channels between judicial institutions in Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

The talks also covered exchanging expertise and knowledge in judicial and legal fields, and benefiting from experiences and practices that contribute to advancing judicial work and strengthening bilateral cooperation.

This meeting comes within the framework of the close relations between the two countries and reflects their commitment to enhancing cooperation and sharing expertise in areas of mutual interest.
