Turkish resident arrested in Al Lith for violating marine safety rules

Border Guard coastal patrols in Al Lith, Makkah region, have detained a Turkish resident for violating safety and security regulations for marine activity practitioners in Saudi waters. The individual was found fishing without a permit and using prohibited equipment. Authorities took legal action in coordination with the relevant agencies.

The Border Guard urged the public to comply with regulations protecting aquatic resources and to report any violations against the environment or wildlife.
