Border Guard in Jazan arrests 14 Yemenis for smuggling 210 kg of qat

Saudi Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Ardah sector of Jazan region have arrested 14 Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 210 kilograms of the narcotic plant qat.

Initial legal procedures were completed, and both the suspects and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, as well as via email at [email protected]. All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
