Riyadh Municipality shuts 52 violators, conducts 805 inspections in three districts

The Riyadh Municipality, represented by its Central Sector and in cooperation with security forces and several government agencies, carried out 805 field inspection tours in the districts of Manfouha, Al-Shumaisi, and Al-Malaz. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve compliance with health and municipal regulations and to enhance the quality of the urban environment.

The municipality took strict measures against detected violations, including shutting down 52 sites that posed a direct risk to public health and demolishing nine buildings found to be in breach of regulations, in accordance with approved procedures.

Authorities also issued 450 violations, removed 1,131 unauthorized street stalls, apprehended 210 illegal workers, and impounded 35 vehicles, aiming to protect consumers and prevent the recurrence of such practices.

The municipality noted that inspections in areas with high commercial activity are part of a proactive, ongoing plan that includes daily and periodic tours of neighborhoods. Modern digital systems are used to accurately document and monitor violations, enabling swift intervention and resolution of issues.
