Saudi Cabinet welcomes outcomes of emergency Makkah Defense Alliance meeting

The Cabinet welcomed the outcomes of the emergency meeting of the Political and Defense Strategy Committee of the Makkah Defense Alliance, which reaffirmed solidarity among the three countries and their united stance against the recent attacks targeting the Kingdom, including those on Makkah, Madinah, and civilian and economic facilities.

The Cabinet also commended the agreement reached at the meeting to activate collective deterrence and move immediately to implement joint defense commitments, in order to strengthen military readiness, integration, and the ability to confront such threats.

The session was chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who presided over the Cabinet meeting held today in Riyadh.
