Border Guard in Asir arrests four for smuggling 50 kg of khat

Land patrols of the Border Guard in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested four violators of border security regulations—of Ethiopian and Yemeni nationalities—for attempting to smuggle 50 kilograms of khat.

Initial legal procedures were completed, and both the detainees and the seized items were handed over to the competent authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995.
