Misk launches 'Wafd' program to prepare Saudi youth for global forums

Farah Al-Sharif, Director of Global Partnerships Activation at the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), explained the objectives of the 'Wafd' program, which was launched to represent Saudi youth on the international stage.

Speaking in an interview with Al Ekhbariya Radio, she said the program is a unique initiative by the foundation to select outstanding Saudi youth, preparing them to participate in major international forums, enhance their presence, and contribute to global discussions.

She added that the program offers participants the opportunity to represent the Kingdom and develop their leadership and policy-making skills through experiences that allow them to gain international expertise and build a global network.

The 'Wafd' program builds on Misk Foundation's ongoing efforts in global representation over recent years. It is a competitive initiative aimed at placing Saudi youth at the forefront of international participation, enabling them to officially represent the Kingdom at leading global platforms and events, including the United Nations General Assembly and the World Bank Youth Summit.

The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) focuses on supporting youth, providing them with access to knowledge and opportunities, and empowering them to become agents of change and shape a future that matches their ambitions.
