Border Guard in Jazan arrests three Yemenis for smuggling 90 kg of khat

Saudi Border Guard patrols in the Al-Ardah sector of Jazan region have arrested three Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 90 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both they and the seized contraband have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control’s hotline at 995, as well as via email at [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
