Riyadh to host fifth LEAP 2026 tech conference with global participation

Saudi Arabia will host the fifth edition of the global technology event, LEAP 2026, from August 31 to September 3, 2026, under the theme "Into New Worlds" at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Mulham, north of Riyadh.

The conference is organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and Tahaluf company, with support from global events organizer Informa and the Events Investment Fund. The event attracts technology and innovation leaders, investors, experts, and startups from around the world.

Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the fifth LEAP 2026 reflects the strong support for the digital economy, technology, and space sectors from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. It is part of efforts to position the Kingdom as a global hub for technology and artificial intelligence, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to diversify the economy and create future growth opportunities.

Global participation and specialized programs

The fifth edition aims to welcome over 1,000 international speakers and experts, more than 1,800 technology companies, over 600 startups, and more than 1,900 investors and representatives of venture capital funds. The conference seeks to strengthen partnerships, attract investment, and open new horizons for the growth of tech companies and entrepreneurs.

LEAP 2026 will feature a diverse program showcasing the latest developments in artificial intelligence, advanced technologies, and the digital economy. It includes the specialized "DeepFest" program focused on AI, as well as tracks on fintech, healthtech, smart cities, edtech, sports tech, space, gaming, and digital infrastructure.
