King Fahd Quran Printing Complex in Madinah operates 250 advanced presses

The King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah features an integrated technological system with more than 250 advanced printing machines, enhancing the quality and precision of Quran production to meet the highest technical standards.

The complex is equipped with cutting-edge web and digital production devices, among the most advanced globally. Some printers can produce over 5,500 Qurans per hour, reflecting the facility’s remarkable production capacity.

The system is anchored by three major machines—Kompacta and Rotoman models—which operate with high efficiency. Each has logged more than 31,870 operating hours and produced over 800 million booklets, with each Quran consisting of 10 complete booklets.

Comprehensive quality control process

The complex’s workflow covers every stage, from preparing pages for printing, through printing, binding, and finishing, to meticulous review and quality control, ensuring every Quran meets the highest approved standards.

This technological advancement reflects the ongoing support the complex receives from the Saudi leadership and the supervision of the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, underscoring the Kingdom’s commitment to leveraging the latest technologies to serve and distribute the Quran in multiple languages worldwide.
