First group of third batch of King’s Umrah guests arrives in Madinah

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance today welcomed the first group of the third batch of guests under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Umrah and Visit Program upon their arrival in Madinah. The visit includes a tour of the Prophet’s Mosque and several Islamic and historical sites before they continue to Makkah to perform Umrah.

The guests arrived from Egypt, Tanzania, Côte d’Ivoire, and Tunisia, where they were received by ministry officials who welcomed them and affirmed their commitment to providing all necessary services and facilities to ensure the guests can perform their rituals and visits with ease and peace of mind.

This third batch includes 250 male and female pilgrims representing 23 African countries: Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Senegal, Guinea-Conakry, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Niger, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Chad, Tanzania, Djibouti, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Angola, and Mali.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has prepared a comprehensive program for the guests, featuring visits to the Prophet’s Mosque, the Rawdah Sharifah, Quba Mosque, Mount Uhud, the Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery, and the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, as well as the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization.

After completing their program in Madinah, the guests will travel to Makkah to perform Umrah. Their itinerary includes visits to the Kiswa Factory, the Revelation Exhibition, and several other Islamic landmarks, as part of a comprehensive educational, cultural, and spiritual program aimed at highlighting Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, and its care for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
