Shoura Council chairman, Philippine ambassador discuss parliamentary ties

Shoura Council Chairman Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh received the Ambassador of the Philippines to Saudi Arabia, Raymond Balatbat, at the council's headquarters in Riyadh on Monday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines, and explored opportunities for cooperation between the Shoura Council and the Philippine parliament.

Both parties emphasized the importance of supporting shared interests and enhancing parliamentary relations, in addition to discussing several topics of mutual concern.
