Makkah defense pact marks milestone in Pakistan-Saudi-Turkey ties, says foreign minister

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, expressed his pride in attending the signing ceremony of the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, held in Makkah. He described the agreement as a historic milestone in the development of cooperation among the three countries.

In remarks published by the Pakistan News Agency today, Dar said: “The agreement is an important step toward advancing defense and strategic cooperation, and strengthening the deep bonds of brotherhood that unite the three nations.” He expressed hope that this partnership would help consolidate regional security and stability, and promote peace and shared prosperity for their peoples and future generations.
