The fourth group of guests under the King Salman Program for Umrah and Visit for 1448 AH departed Madinah today, heading to Makkah to perform Umrah rituals. Their stay in Madinah included a range of religious and cultural activities and field visits, all organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.

The group stopped at the Miqat of Dhul-Hulaifah, where they performed the Dhuhr and Asr prayers together and entered into ihram for Umrah. The ministry oversaw the arrangements, ensuring a spiritual and well-organized environment, including transportation, group management, and the provision of necessary services and facilities to ease their journey to Makkah.

During their time in Madinah, the guests visited the Prophet’s Mosque, offered greetings to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his two companions (may Allah be pleased with them), and prayed in the Rawdah. Their itinerary also included visits to significant Islamic and historical sites such as Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ Cemetery, Quba Mosque, and the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an.

The guests also attended a guidance session with Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Suleiman Al-Muhanna, Imam and preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque, as part of a program that combined spiritual, scholarly, and cultural elements.

Gratitude expressed to leadership and ministry

The guests expressed their happiness at visiting Madinah, praising the warm welcome, hospitality, and comprehensive services they received. They affirmed that the programs and visits enriched their spiritual and cultural experience. The guests extended their thanks and appreciation to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for their generosity, care, and the facilities provided, noting that these efforts reflect the leadership’s commitment to Islam and Muslims and its dedication to serving the guests of the Two Holy Mosques.

The guests also commended the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance for implementing the program and providing services that facilitated their journey and fulfilled its spiritual and cultural objectives.

The fourth group of the program includes 250 male and female pilgrims representing 21 countries, including Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the Maldives, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Bhutan, Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, and Fiji.
