He added that he was outside the house when the projectile struck, but rushed home after receiving a call from his brother. His account coincided with Al Ekhbariya's broadcast of footage showing the damage and injuries caused by the attacks launched by the Houthi militia, which targeted civilian and economic sites in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran.
The footage revealed damage to several buildings, homes, and facilities, including shattered facades and windows and scattered debris, as security forces and civil defense teams responded at the affected sites.
Official Coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki earlier announced that 73 civilians, including women and children, were injured in the recent attacks.
