Islamic Affairs Ministry welcomes second group of royal Umrah guests in Madinah

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance on Wednesday completed the reception of the second group of guests under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Umrah and Visit Program, following the arrival of all participants in Madinah.

This second group comprises 250 male and female pilgrims representing 23 countries across Europe and Asia, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Moldova, Austria, Slovakia, Estonia, Poland, Switzerland, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria.

The ministry stated that it has prepared a comprehensive program for the guests during their stay in Madinah, which includes visits to the Prophet’s Mosque and prayers there, as well as visits to the Rawdah Sharif, Quba Mosque, and the Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery.

Visits, educational programs, and comprehensive services

The program also features a tour of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, and an exploration of the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, before the guests proceed to Makkah to perform Umrah rituals.

The ministry affirmed that it has mobilized an integrated system of services and care for the program’s guests, aiming to facilitate their Umrah and visit in a manner that reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to serving pilgrims.
