The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has completed preparations to receive the second group of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Umrah and Visit for 1448 AH. The group is scheduled to arrive in Madinah on Wednesday before traveling to Makkah to perform Umrah rituals, following King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s approval to host 1,000 male and female pilgrims at his own expense, divided into four groups throughout the year.

The second group includes 250 pilgrims from 23 countries across Europe and Asia: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Moldova, Austria, Slovakia, Estonia, Poland, Switzerland, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria.

The Ministry has arranged a diverse and enriching program for the guests during their stay in Madinah, including visits to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, Quba Mosque, the Martyrs’ Cemetery, Mount Uhud, and the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an. The itinerary also features the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, before the group travels to Makkah for Umrah rituals and visits to the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Kiswa of the Kaaba and the Revelation Exhibition.
