Saudi Arabia records 13 dust storm incidents on Wednesday: regional center

The Regional Center for Dust and Sandstorms announced that 13 dust storm incidents were recorded in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

The center stated on its official X account that a total of 59 hours of dust storm activity were recorded across the region on Wednesday.

According to the center, the incidents included 17 cases in Iran, 14 in Jordan, 13 in Saudi Arabia, 10 in the United Arab Emirates, and 3 in Yemen, while Iraq recorded 2 hours of dust storm activity. No dust storm hours were recorded in other countries in the region.
