Saudi minister, Ubisoft CEO discuss AI in gaming and talent development

Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, met with Yves Guillemot, CEO and co-founder of the French video game company Ubisoft.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Communications on its X platform account, the meeting discussed leveraging artificial intelligence to advance the gaming industry, developing and training Saudi talent, and empowering game developers and content creators in the Kingdom to produce globally competitive digital experiences.

The ministry also noted that Ubisoft previously introduced AlUla, its history, and cultural heritage to a global audience through Assassin’s Creed Mirage, offering an experience that combined gaming with cultural storytelling.
