DBS, AMAK, Wataniya, Kingdom Holding, and Almunajem recorded the highest gains, while Umm Al-Qura Cement, Retal, Saudi Ground Services, Sanad Holding, and Theeb posted the largest losses. Price changes ranged between 4.92% and 6.25%.
In terms of trading activity, Americana, Al Rajhi, Saudi Aramco, Al-Andalus for Sports, and Retal were the most active by volume. Al Rajhi, Al Ahli, Saudi Aramco, Alawwal, and Al Babtain led in terms of trading value.
Parallel market index also declines
The parallel market index (Nomu) also closed lower, dropping 99.15 points to finish at 22,027.78 points, with trading value at SAR 15 million and more than 1.7 million shares changing hands.
