Riyadh infrastructure center conducts over 37,000 inspections in July 2026

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance compliance, improve execution quality, and raise safety standards at project sites, the Infrastructure Projects Center in the Riyadh region conducted more than 37,000 inspections of infrastructure projects in Riyadh city and across the region’s governorates during July 2026.

According to a statement on its X platform account, the center said the inspections resulted in the detection of over 3,000 violations. During the same period, the center also received more than 20,000 reports related to infrastructure projects, as part of its ongoing monitoring of compliance and field observations in coordination with relevant authorities.

Key violations included failure to comply with project signage requirements, lack of general cleanliness at worksites, storage of materials and equipment outside the permitted work area, and failure to provide necessary warning lighting in work zones, all in accordance with approved standards and regulations.

According to the center’s statement, these efforts are part of an integrated regulatory system led by the Infrastructure Projects Center in Riyadh, aiming to increase compliance with infrastructure project codes, enhance quality and safety standards, improve execution efficiency, and elevate the urban landscape and quality of life in the Riyadh region.
