Saudi Arabia unveils largest camel replica in the world at Taif festival

Taif hosts the largest camel replica in the world, recognized by the Guinness Book of Records in mid-2019; and unveiled by Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi Bin Abdulaziz, the president of the Saudi Camel Federation two years ago.

The 10-meter wide and 4.65-meter high replica stands on a steel base against corrosion; and it lit up by 51,000 lights within the structure designed in geometric shapes.

The replica’s triangular sculptures are uniquely ready to boost its artistic value; making it a prominent landmark and a destination for tourists from inside and outside the Kingdom.

The replica is the second Guinness record during the Crown Prince Camel Festival; after the festival’s first edition set as the largest camel sports festival in the world; also featuring the participation of a record 11,186 camels that competed in 787 rounds.
