Saudi Arabia; UAE sign MoU in aviation security

Civil aviation authorities of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates; also have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of aviation security; the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The MoU was signed by President of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz Al-Duailej and Director-General of General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE Saif Mohammed Al-Suwaid; here on Tuesday.

The MoU aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of aviation security; which will markedly contribute to the modernization of the administrative; organizational; operational; and also technical fields of the aviation sector.

The MoU included several areas; most notably is the exchange of experiences; developing and improving the civil aviation security infrastructure and applying best practices and applications; also used in the field of software systems; in addition to benefiting from qualified technical cadres of the two countries and other items; that enhance bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
