Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health (MoH) announced on Sunday the registration of 59 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 41 recoveries in the Kingdom during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of health added in their statement that the number of critical cases reached 139.

The statistics also showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 547,591, while the recovery tally reached 536,626.

"Two new deaths, bringing fatalities tally in the Kingdom to 8,745," the statement added.

The Ministry of Health advised everyone to contact the toll free (937) for consultations and inquiries around the clock, and to obtain health information and services.
