Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health (MoH) announced on Tuesday the registration of 45 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 48 recoveries in the Kingdom during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health added in their statement that the number of critical cases reached 59.

"The total number of infections in the country reached 548,711 while the recovery tally reached 537,653," the statement added.

The MoH reported 2 new deaths, bringing fatalities tally in the Kingdom to 8,798.

The Ministry of Health advised everyone to contact the toll free (937) for consultations and inquiries around the clock, and to obtain health information and services.
