Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 353 new confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The daily reported number brings the total number of infected cases to 542,707, including 4,377 active cases.

"There are 1,108 critical cases," the Ministry of Health's statement said.

"7 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 8,497," the statement added.

Meanwhile, as many as 456 cases have recovered, raising recoveries toll to 529,833.
