Official Spokesman of the Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali reported 35 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Kingdom on Sunday.

The daily reported number brings the total number of confirmed cases to 549,912, including 2,012 active cases.

"There are 39 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," he added.

In a press conference, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said that 45 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 539,056 cases.

Also, two new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 8,844, said the health ministry spokesman.
