Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health (MoH) announced on Thursday the registration of 24 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 27 recoveries in the Kingdom during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health added in tgheir statement that the number of critical cases reached 42.

The ministry's statistics showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 549,810, while the recovery tally reached 538,966.

The MoH also reported two new deaths, bringing fatalities tally in the Kingdom to 8,839.

The Ministry of Health advised everyone to contact the toll free (937) for consultations and inquiries around the clock, and to obtain health information and services.
