The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of cooperation based on the principle of transparency among countries to address the phenomenon of illicit financial flows, expressing its encouragement to the various United Nations bodies to consider ways to address this phenomenon.
This came during the speech of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the general discussion of the item "Macroeconomic Policy Issues" within the Second Economic and Financial Committee during the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The speech of the Kingdom was delivered by Wafa bint Fahd Al-Nafjan, the First Secretary and Member of the Kingdom's Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
