Saudi Arabia Expresses Solidarity with Lebanon after Beirut’s Port Explosion

Saudi Arabia have stressed that their positions towards Lebanon are firm throughout history, however Lebanon is still suffering from many humanitarian crises due to the actions of the Iranian terrorist arm Hezbollah militia, Al-Yaum newspaper reported.

The paper said that the statement of the Foreign Ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on its great concern of the Beirut's explosion consequences confirms Saudi Arabia's complete standing and solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people.

The paper pointed out that King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) in Lebanon moved to assist in rescue operations, transporting the wounded, and providing medical teams to contribute to the medical evacuation and provide emergency services and health care for the victims of the explosion.

Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the safe source of energy from fossil oil, as its technical capabilities and practical experiences enabled it to provide energy for the countries of the world at reasonable prices, as well as its ability to cover any energy shortage the world witnesses for one reason or another.

The paper added that Saudi Arabia was not satisfied with being the first exporter of oil, but shared the interest of first world countries in producing clean energy from its renewable sources. The paper explained that Saudi Arabia has multiple natural resources, including gas, sunlight, wave movement, winds, etc, and it is working to exploit these resources to enhance its ability of using nuclear energy by 2030.
