Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar inaugurated the "Learn From Home" initiative on Thursday, which will provide more than 55,000 tablets to students in need; to enable them to continue their education; through remote learning.
Prince Faisal also inaugurated the initiative in the presence of the director general of education in Riyadh; Hamad Al-Wahaibi, education directors in the region, and a representative from the Takaful Charity Association.
The initiative will also support e-learning in the Kingdom; in line with Saudi Vision 2030, and promote cooperation between the public and private sector community in partnership; with several entrepreneurs, charity associations and corporations in the region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
