The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) urged the OIC Member States to continue measures to address all forms of violence against women, especially some practices that are contrary to the principles of Islamic religion and its values.
The OIC called on its agencies, religious scholars, civilsociety institutions and the media to exert more efforts in raising awareness,supporting workers in this field in the member states, and initiatives toexchange experience among different bodies to create an environment conduciveprotecting the women's rights.
