Anti-concealment program outlines 7 conditions for exemption from penalties

Saudi Arabia's National Anti-Commercial Concealment Program has published seven conditions for exempting individuals involved in concealment crimes from penalties, according to a post on X.

The program explained that courts may exempt those convicted of commercial concealment from penalties under the Anti-Concealment Law if the following conditions are met:

1- The individual must cease committing the crime upon reporting it.

2- No other perpetrator should have reported the crime beforehand.

3- The individual must proactively notify the Ministry about their involvement or the identity of other perpetrators or accomplices before authorities discover the crime.

4- The individual must cooperate with the Ministry and relevant authorities from the time of reporting until the investigation procedures conclude with all parties involved.

5- The individual must provide evidence or information that substantiates the crime.

6- The individual must not destroy, forge, or conceal any information or evidence related to the crime.

7- The report must lead to the recovery of proceeds from other perpetrators or prevent them from controlling such proceeds.
