WHO Thanks King Salman for providing $10 million to curb the spread of Coronavirus

The Director General of World Health Organization (WHO ) Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for providing $ 10 million to the organization to combat coronavirus "Covid-19".

Dr.Tedros , in a tweet on his Twitter account, expressed his great gratitude tothe Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad binSalman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister ofDefense, and the people of the Kingdom, for the support provided to the WorldHealth Organization to limit the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) andhelp countries with weak health systems.

In a step to combat novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Saudi Arabia and the World Health Organization (WHO) are working together.

Insupport of this effort, Saudi Arabia has provided USD10,000,000 to the WorldHealth Organization for the implementation of urgent measures to minimize thespread of the disease and to support countries with vulnerable healthinfrastructures.
