Rental contract not required for married Citizen Account beneficiaries, program clarifies

The Citizen Account program has clarified whether married beneficiaries are required to submit a rental contract to prove their independence, responding to a question from a follower via the official beneficiary services account on X.

A user asked the beneficiary services account: "Is a rental contract required for eligibility if I am married? My contract has expired and I have not renewed it."

The program explained that if the beneficiary is applying as an independent individual, a document proving independence in the applicant's name must be attached. The required documents can be viewed by logging into the beneficiary's account and selecting Beneficiary File > Attachments.

Citizen Account confirmed that beneficiaries whose marital status is "married" are not required to provide a rental contract as part of the eligibility requirements.
