Vehicle license plates can now be replaced online via Absher

The General Directorate of Traffic now allows vehicle owners to request replacement license plates online through the Absher platform, enabling individuals to apply for replacements for lost or damaged plates without visiting traffic offices in person.

In a post on its official X account, Saudi Traffic clarified that the service also lets users request plates with special logos or different sizes, including vertical plates, all electronically via Absher.

How to replace vehicle license plates online

The General Directorate of Traffic outlined the following steps to benefit from the license plate replacement service:

- Log in to the Absher platform.

- Select "Vehicles".

- Choose "Vehicle Management".

- Select the vehicle for which you want to replace the plate.

- Choose "Replace Vehicle Plates".
