Jawazat launches new employer notification service on Absher

The General Directorate of Passports has launched a new online service allowing businesses to receive notifications by adding a resident or visitor ID number and selecting the desired type of alert.

According to a statement on X, the notification service (Employer Notification) enables establishments to receive alerts related to residents or visitors by entering the relevant ID number and choosing the appropriate notification type.

To use the service, users must log in to the Muqeem portal, access the support services, and select the notification service. They can then create a new request, specify the type of notification and identifier, fill in the required fields, and confirm the request.

Reporting lost resident ID

The General Directorate of Passports has outlined six steps for reporting a lost resident ID through the Muqeem portal.

Via its official X account, the authority stated that businesses can report the loss of a resident ID for their employees through the following steps:

1 - Log in to the Muqeem portal

2 - Search for the resident

3 - Enter the resident’s ID number

4 - View the resident’s profile

5 - Select passport services

6 - Choose the option to report a lost resident ID
