Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom has stressed the need for a comprehensive peace in Yemen and the implementation of the Swedish agreement to get out of the crisis in the country.

Wallstrom said during her meeting in Riyadh with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Yemeni government Mohammed Al-Hadrami, that her visit to the region comes within this framework and stressed in this context her country's support for the legitimate government in Yemen, and its determination to continue to provide support for Yemen in order to alleviate the consequences of the humanitarian crisis, the official Yemeni News reported.

For his part, the Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated his government's determination to continue cooperating with the international community in combating terrorism and extremism in all their forms and wherever they exist, and not to accept the continuation or funding any military formations outside the State of Yemen under any justification.

The Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister praised Sweden's continued support for the legitimate government, its keenness on the security, safety and unity of Yemeni territories and its great interest in the humanitarian crisis caused by Houthi coup.

Al-Hadrami said that the implementation of the Swedish agreement and the withdrawal from city and ports of Hodeidah are the main entry point for any future consultations.
